The demand on drivers increases when the motorcycles are grounded due to adverse weather or where there is a large delivery.

• You have no more than 6 points on your driving licence with no additional outstanding issues

• We will undertake a driving licence check before training can commence

Greater Manchester Blood Bikes Fundraisers

Fundraisers

Our fundraisers and presenters share the story of our charity and directly engage with the communities we serve, with a view to securing charity donations which enable us to deliver as a charity.

As we are entirely funded by donations and sponsorship, we regularly require volunteers to attend events for this purpose.

Additionally for those volunteers that are comfortable with public speaking, we also require volunteers to deliver our charity presentation to a range of local groups and organisations.

The roles can involve handling cash and card payments in line with our processes and procedures.

You should be comfortable with a role that requires engagement with members of the public and be willing to learn about the charity, so you can speak with members of the public confidently.
